lil miss cupcake party

we had so much fun helping connie plan gulianna's 2nd birthday celebration.
as the kiddies arrived they were greeted with hundreds of bubbles blowing everywhere (thanks to the bubble machine).
the theme of the party was 'cupcakes" and the colors were pink & purple as i'm sure you've seen. we decorated with tissue flowers and lanterns, a large cupcake banner personalized for gulianna's special day hung just above the candy bar. and of course a picture of the birthday girl displayed.
the food was delish...fruit kabobs with marshmallow dip (recipe on easter blog), mini cheese kabobs, veggies & hummus & turkey rolls ups and a whole other menu for the adults.
keeping with the theme the kids were thrilled to have a glass of icy cold purple kool-aid.
a little affair also provided their special touch with vanilla bean cupcakes topped with buttercream icing and their famous themed cupcake toppers. ohhhh and let me not forget the edible shimmer sprinkled on top!!!
custom water bottles are a always fun ($2 each)
what party wouldn't be complete without a mini candy buffet?
each child left with a take out container filled with candy and a tag thanking them for coming to the party.
as well as the take home candy they were all given a fish in a square glass vase with a personalized bag tag ($2.50 each with the cupcake theme & child's name).
wow...that was such a cute party!!!!
we are currently working on a purplicious & sweet candy shop party...stay tuned for the details!!!
