Dino Fun

Dinosaur parties are always so much FUN. For this party, we did the personalized water bottles, large banner with dinosaur shapes and gummy kabobs as loot bags with personalized thank-you tags. And of course....CUPCAKES but I forgot to take a picture of them. I am famous for that.

ROCKSTAR

the above pictures are some work we did for a rockstar/rockband party. we provided the hostess with a VIP list and passes for all the guests. we did the loot bags, the popcorn buckets (she was going to fill them herself), the star cookies were part of the loot bags, the water bottles were personalized so that the girls didn't get them mixed up throughout the night and of course CUPCAKES!!!

Sweet Candy Party

After many months of planning, the party has finally arrived.
Our Sweet lil Jordy turned 3!!!

the candy bar was as a huge hit for all ages. the bar was filled with a ton of candy from candy buttons to tootsie rolls and of course toothbrushes!!!
as the guests left the party they filled a brown paper bag with treats.

handmade invites with glittery pencils and cello with rainbow colored ribbons where hand delivered a few weeks prior to the party.

colored lanterns wrapped in cello filled the backyard as well as large pinwheels and of course a few bubblegum centerpieces customized with "Happy Birthday SWEET Jordyn"
lemonade and pop shopped soda's are always a great
refreshing drink on a warm day.

a lollipop centerpiece was the prize for the
guess the number of gumballs game.
lil Jordy loved her cake provided by
Roseanne of Lavish Cake Designs
http://www.roseanne-lavishcakedesign.blogspot.com
the cake had gummy bears on one tier (jordy's fav) and chocolate chips on another with confetti cake.

It wasn't just stunning it was yummy too!!!
what party wouldn't be complete without a candy shoppe built by daddy. we played the old fashion potato sac game that had us all in tears. Jordy's big sis had a hard time losing as you can see.

A super duper BIG Thank- you to Susie Turner for taking the hundreds of awesome pics...she captured every moment. WE lOVE YOU tons.
I had a great time planning my sweet lil jordy's party and we'd love to help you with your kids next party so why not use a little affair and save the stress.
we love parties as you can see!!!

Purplicious Party

as you already know, we love the story Pinkalicious, by Victoria Kann. so when we were asked to do a Purplicious party, we were super excited. this is the purplicious party we did for lily's 6th birthday!

the one and only ... birthday girl

the lucky girls that attended this party came dressed in purple. they listened to the story Purplicious, they decorated crowns, the played pin the cherry on the cupcake and had their nails painted ... purple of course!

the purplicious girls ate purple cupcakes, ate purple candy and even the fruit and veggie dip was purple! they played a guessing game with a jar full of purple jelly bellies and then took home a bead kit full of purple and pink beads.

we would love to hear from you! please leave us a comment, it's easy ... you do not need to have a google account, send annonymously! for pricing or party specifics please contact us:cheryl.alittleaffair@cogeco.ca or andrea.alittleaffair@cogeco.ca

lil miss cupcake party

we had so much fun helping connie plan gulianna's 2nd birthday celebration.
as the kiddies arrived they were greeted with hundreds of bubbles blowing everywhere (thanks to the bubble machine).
the theme of the party was 'cupcakes" and the colors were pink & purple as i'm sure you've seen. we decorated with tissue flowers and lanterns, a large cupcake banner personalized for gulianna's special day hung just above the candy bar. and of course a picture of the birthday girl displayed.
the food was delish...fruit kabobs with marshmallow dip (recipe on easter blog), mini cheese kabobs, veggies & hummus & turkey rolls ups and a whole other menu for the adults.
keeping with the theme the kids were thrilled to have a glass of icy cold purple kool-aid.
a little affair also provided their special touch with vanilla bean cupcakes topped with buttercream icing and their famous themed cupcake toppers. ohhhh and let me not forget the edible shimmer sprinkled on top!!!
custom water bottles are a always fun ($2 each)
what party wouldn't be complete without a mini candy buffet?
each child left with a take out container filled with candy and a tag thanking them for coming to the party.
as well as the take home candy they were all given a fish in a square glass vase with a personalized bag tag ($2.50 each with the cupcake theme & child's name).
wow...that was such a cute party!!!!
we are currently working on a purplicious & sweet candy shop party...stay tuned for the details!!!

dino party

what little boy doesn't like dinosaurs? we had the chance to create a few items for ethan~o~saurus's 4th birthday party.

we made vanilla & chocolate cupcakes with buttercream icing.

supplied them with personalized water bottles cupcake toppers laminated loot bag tags that can be re~used as bag tags.....super cute!!!
the party was a huge hit. the hostess served dino chicken nuggets and the kids gobbled them down. there is nothing like a great party at home. as the kids played the old fashion games the parents relaxed and caught up with old friends.
